Krill Oil is also a rich source os Astaxanthin, a carotenoid pigment also found in salmon, trout, shrimp, crayfish, and other crustaceans. Non-clinical research indicates that due to Astaxanthin's potent antioxidant activity, it may be beneficial in cardiovascular and immune function. *
