Ellagic Acid is popular in the nutracueitcal field for cancer studies. However, at the time, no human studies have been done. Ellagic Acid can be found in berries (blackberries, strawberries, cranberries), although raspberries have the highest concentration. Ellagic Acid can also be obtained by eating walnuts, peacans, and pomegranates.
Ellagic Acid has antioxidant, anti-carcinogen and anti-mutagen properities. It is a naturally occuring hydrocarbon.
