Chondroitin Sulfate Complex
Chondroitin Sulfate, or Chondroitin, is found from natural sources such as bovine or shark cartilage. Chondroitin is present in the body in the cartilage, bone, skin, cornea, and arterial wall. Chrondroitin works to make proteoglycans which support cartilage function in the body.Chondroitin shows potential of antiatherogenic ability and demonstrates the ability to hinder the enzyme leukocute elastase. Chondroitin is classified among the large molecule family, glucosaminoglycans (GAGs).
At the moment, there are no recorded interactions with other drugs and chondroitin sulfate. There has been extensive research on the relationship between chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine sulfate. It is recommended that the two supplements are taken together as they prove much more beneficial to the body as a pair than individually.
Chondroitin Sulfate is well tolerated by most individuals; although there have been some reports of epigastric pain and nausea. Be sure to check the label for important information and to consume the proper dosage.
